The River School of Ministry is a partnership program with Northwest University targeting 18-29 year olds.*

Our students can achieve fully accredited AA, BA, or MA degrees remotely through Northwest University, while additionally earning credits towards their degrees, attending practical leadership training through our internship.
  • Northwest University, located in Kirkland WA, is a regionally accredited university, at the highest level.
  • Transfer credits accepted from other institutions.
  • Tuition costs are eligible for Federal Financial Aid (loans & grants)
  • 24/7 academic online support through NU, including tutoring.

* Flex students, ages 30 and up, can take advantage of the partnership by continuing their education online through NU.

STEP ONE:
Apply to Northwest University online at www.northwestu.edu/partnership/apply.

STEP TWO:
Apply to The River School of Ministry by completing this application below. If you prefer a paper application, you can pick one up at The Connection Center in the River of Life foyer.

STEP THREE:
Complete and submit a biographical essay along with this application using the file uploader found at the end of the TRSOM application (Microsoft Word document or PDF).

STEP FOUR:
Give the Character Reference Form (link below) to a mature Christian mentor or elder to whom you are not related, and who can best answer questions about your character and Christian lifestyle. Collect and submit the complete character reference form along with this application by using the file uploader found at the end of the TRSOM application (Microsoft Word document or PDF).

STEP FIVE:
Give the Employer Reference Form (link below) to a current or former employer who can best answer questions about your character and work ethic. Collect and submit the completed character reference form using the file uploader found at the end of the TRSOM application (Microsoft Word document or PDF).

When all of the above materials are received by River of Life Fellowship and NU, your application will be reviewed for admissions consideration. You will be contacted by The River School of Ministry personnel to schedule an interview. A background check will also need to be processed prior to being admitted into the program.
