FAQ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that all who call upon His name will be saved. We also acknowledge and believe that following Jesus comes with intentionality and allowing God to transform us from the inside out. When you arrive at The River, you’ll see that we have ample parking around the entire building. For first-timers, take advantage of our visitor parking spaces on the church-facing side of the front lawn area.

The short answer is no. You’re welcome to attend service in what makes you comfortable, but please remember that church is a place of worship and honor unto the Lord. We don’t discriminate against colored hair, piercings, or tattoos.

Check-in for kids’ classes (birth – 6th grade) is found on the lower level, down the right-hand stairwell in the main lobby. We also have a family room upstairs if you’d prefer to enjoy service together but privately, as well as a nursing mothers’ room. Children are welcome to stay with you in adult service if you prefer.

On Sundays after worship during the 9AM and 11AM services, 7th – 9th graders get together on our lower level in Room 137. Between services from 10:30AM – 11AM, 9th – 12th graders have a chance to unwind in the Hangout room downstairs for a time of connection and snacks. Youth service is every Wednesday at 7PM, for 7th – 12th grade.

If you’d like us to get to know you a little before you arrive, you’re more than welcome to fill out a New Visitor Card, but it’s not required. We can’t wait to connect with you in person!
