Come Home This Season.

You don’t have to have it all together to come back to church.
At The River, there’s a place for the tired, the searching, and the curious.

If life feels heavy, you’re not alone. Whether you’ve been away from church for a few months, a few years, or you’ve never really had a church home, we’d love to welcome you.

No perfect people. No performance. Just real people learning to follow Jesus together.

If you’re ready, give God 7 days to cut through the lies and show you how He really sees you.

You Don’t Have to Do This Alone

The holidays can bring up a lot—loss, stress, regret, questions you’re not sure you’re allowed to ask. If that’s you, you’re exactly who we had in mind when we planned this Come Home season.

At The River, you’ll find:

Hope that doesn’t disappoint when life hasn’t gone the way you expected.

Faith that moves you forward even when you feel stuck.

Love that changes everything, one small step at a time.

You don’t have to fix yourself first. You don’t have to sign up for anything or promise you’ll never miss a Sunday.

Just take one small step to connect—and let God meet you there.

7 Days to Hear How God Really Sees You

This isn’t a challenge, a program, or a test. It’s a gentle, simple way to reconnect with God and let Him speak into how you see yourself—from wherever you are right now.

For 7 days, you’ll receive:

  • A short daily encouragement (1–3 minutes max)

  • A Bible truth about how God actually sees you

  • A simple reflection or prayer you can do anytime

  • Optional next steps if you want to keep growing after the 7 days

No pressure. No spam. Just honest hope and a steady reminder that you are seen, known, and deeply loved.

If You Decide to Visit

Whether you come next week, next month that’s okay. When you’re ready, here’s what you can expect at The River:

  • Real people, not a performance.

  • Worship that points to Jesus, not to a stage.

  • Biblical teaching that connects God’s Word to everyday life.

  • Come-as-you-are atmosphere. Jeans, hoodie, Sunday best—it’s all welcome.

  • You won’t be singled out. You can slip in, sit back, and just breathe.

We believe God meets us in the honest places—not the polished ones.

A Place Your Kids Will Love Too

We don’t just make space for the next generation—we champion them.

From babies to high schoolers, we want every child and student to know they are seen, safe, and deeply loved by God.

  • Kids (Birth–6th Grade):
Age-appropriate classes, caring volunteers, and fun Bible teaching that helps kids know Jesus loves them and has a plan for their lives.

  • Youth (7th-12th grade):
Real talk, real friends, and real hope. We create space for students to ask honest questions, grow in faith, and discover their God-given purpose.

We take safety seriously with secure check-in, background-checked volunteers, and clear policies—so you can relax and enjoy the service.

Reminder: You don’t have to have a perfect family to show up. We’re all learning together.

If you’re carrying pain, disappointment, or even anger related to church, you’re not a problem to be fixed. You’re a person to be loved.

At The River, we commit to:

  • Listening to your story.

  • Pointing you to Jesus, not perfection.

  • Walking with you at your pace, not ours.

You don’t have to pretend. You don’t have to be “over it” yet.
You’re allowed to bring your questions, your doubts, and your scars—and still belong.

At The River, we empower people through the Word of God to become world changers.

We believe in:

  • Faith that moves.

We’re not perfect, but we are hungry for God’s presence and committed to loving people well.

Christmas at The River

Sunday, December 7th – Sweaters & Cocoa

Come to service in a cozy Christmas sweater and start your morning with a cup of FREE cocoa! We want the best for our church family, so forget the hot water and cocoa packet—it’ll be the real, milky deal!

Sunday, December 14th – Christmas Carol Singalong

Fa-la-la-la-la, let’s go caroling! On December 14th, Kids Life will put on a stellar Christmas choir performance in the sanctuary during both services. Between and afterward, band together with the carolers in the lobby as we carry on the melodic merriment!

Sunday, December 21st – Christmas Cookie Bash

What’s better than cookies for breakfast? Listen to your sweet tooth and grab a cookie from a range of treats, then wash it all down with a personal carton of milk after. We promise, you won’t regret a thing.

Sunday, December 28th – New Year’s Anointing Service

We’re ringing in the new year with anticipation and joyful hearts! During this service, we’ll be standing in faith with written prayers from our church family. Grab an anointing cloth to take with you into 2026 and expect great things!

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

On Wednesday, December 24th, we’re holding our annual Christmas Eve service. Bring the family, your neighbors, coworkers, friends, and anyone else you know to The River for this beautiful night of Christmas worship and thanking God for His precious Son. We’re looking forward to the glow of candlelight and worshiping during this holiday season with you!

You Don’t Have to Have It All Together

If you only remember one thing, let it be this:

God sees you. He has not forgotten you. And He loves you more than you can imagine.

If your heart is even a little curious…
if you’re tired of trying to do it all on your own…
if you’re wondering if there’s still a place for you in God’s story—

We’d love to walk with you.

Give God 7 days to interrupt the lies in your head with the truth of how He actually sees you.

Keep up with all the Christmas cheer on our calendar!
