Pastor Jack and Joyce started River of Life in October, 1982 in the auditorium of Thomas Jefferson High School in Federal Way, WA. From there the meetings grew until the first church building was purchased on 216th street on the east hill of Kent. In 2002 we opened our doors to our current building — an amazing facility which provides state of the art equipment for our services, special events, meetings and classes. Pastor Jack is a graduate of Rhema Bible Institute and has received his honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Bible Focus College. Pastor Jack is the Senior Pastor at River of Life and preaches the word during most weekly services. Pastor and Joyce love spending quality time together, their kids and grandkids, as well as ministering as a couple. Joyce is a key leader at River of Life Fellowship, who loves people and has a heart to reach the hurting and the lost.
Pastor Jim has served River of Life in a number of ways over the years as Senior Communications Director, Missionary to Japan and now as Administrative Pastor. He loves people, music, and to see the church flourish!
Tommy’s worship style is heartfelt and intimate. He is a talented guitarist and vocalist, leading our worship team and serving our congregation in music and other ministering arts.
Dedicated to helping young people discover and grow in God, Charlie is our Youth Pastor. He has served at River of Life for many years, now teaching and training in United Youth.
Pastor Jennifer loves children! She is a bright and cheerful servant of God, always looking for ways to bring kids closer to God and to teach in a fun and inventive way.
