Sundays at 11am

(This page will be updated if drive in service is cancelled for any reason.)

WHAT: We’re taking our services to the next level with Drive-In Sundays!

WHEN: Every Sunday at 11am, come join us live and in person (from a safe distance of course!). We’ve had a great time with our live stream services recently as we’ve navigated current events, but there’s something about being together as the family of God that’s hard to beat. So, this is your personal invitation to come be a part!

WHERE: River of Life Parking Lot

On 5.27.2020, the Governor’s office released news that religious and faith-based organizations in Phase 1 counties may host up to 100 people for outdoor services. Given that our congregation is larger than 100, we will continue with drive-in services, using your car or portable radio tuned to 91.9 FM as our main mode of transmission of service. Online services continue for those who prefer to watch from home. We are allowed up to 100 individuals outdoors, including workers, but since we have better accommodations for the drive-in services (and staying in your car will reduce risk of exposure), we ask that you remain in your vehicles as much as possible.

Starting 5/31/2020, The River will be hosting outdoor KIDS CHURCH in the Administration Building parking lot, 10626 SE 216th Street, Kent WA 98031. We are providing secure, safe, pickup and drop off for a 1-hour service for grade-school aged kids 6 and up. State mandated COVID-19 health and safety practices will be employed for all services at The River, to include but is not limited to hand-washing/sanitizing station, social distancing practices, and no-contact activities.

A Few Things You Need to Know:

– Drive in services are every Sunday at 9am and 11am are roughly one hour.
– Please enter exclusively through the main church parking lot entrance on 216th ave. Exit on Benson Ave only.
– Kids Life services will be held across 216th street at the Administration Building parking lot.
– Although current Phase 1 regulations allow for up to 100 people outdoors, we prefer that you stay in your vehicle as much as possible.
– All attendees outside of their vehicle MUST wear a mask/facial covering at all times.
– One family per vehicle please (no carpooling, sorry!)
– Service will be broadcast through your car stereo on 91.9 FM
– Please arrive 15-30 minutes early to get parked, radio tuned, situated, and ready
– All social distancing regulations will still be in effect, and our top priority is the safety of everyone attending and our River team. Please help us maintain this!
– If you’re feeling unwell, or uncomfortable with attending, particularly if you’re a part of the higher risk population, please stay home! We’ll still be streaming our services live online, and would love for you to still stay connected and involved with us there.

We’re looking forward to seeing you! For more information on the Washington State phased approach, visit:
